How can people avoid adding holiday weight?
1.    Spend time outside: Play football, walk, enjoy nature and give your body some exercise!  Take your family for evening walks; Participate in a 5k run/walk
2.    Eat slowly and Drink Drink Drink. Eat very slowly and enjoy the flavors. Remember, it takes the brain about 20 minutes to let you know you are full. Water is going to help you avoid eating as much if you drink a large glass 20-30 minutes prior to having a large dinner.
3.    Make cooking FAMILY TIME! What a great opportunity to spend time with you kids and teach them some cooking skills! Plus, I’ve found younger kids tend to enjoy eating foods they prepare, even vegetables.
4.    Create an active family project out of serving your neighbors-Rake leaves, for senior, neighbor
